In June 2011, the City Council authorized staff to solicit competitive bids for the construction of street and drainage improvements in the Old Town West Neighborhood, south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and west of Hampshire Road.  The project area includes Los Robles Road between Live Oak Street and Fairview Drive and Fairview between Crescent Way and Royal Oaks Drive. 

Currently, the City is working with affected residential property owners to obtain the necessary rights-of-way.  The project will be funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  For Old Town West Improvements (capital project) information, contact Dean Morales, (805) 449-2462.  For Neighborhood Improvements Program and CDBG funding information, contact Caroline Milton, (805) 449-2331.
